Monster of Nix is een bijzondere combinatie van animatie- en liveactiontechnieken.
Wij hadden het geluk dat we gedeelten van decors en special props mochten maken.
De stemmen zijn ingesproken door Tom Waits, Terry Gilliam en The Residents. De muziek is geschreven door
Rosto en uitgevoerd door het Metropole Orkest, The Residents en The Dø.
De film ging in première in juni 2011 tijdens het Annecy International Animated Film Festival en was de Nederlandse inzending voor de Oscar voor beste korte animatie.
